CHELSEA HAVE FINALLY IDENTIFIED PROPER REPLACEMENT FOR TACTICAL STAR MAN

Sunday, April 22, 2018

Laurent Blanc has reportedly been named as a possible candidate to manage Chelsea.
With the West Londoners struggling to qualify for next campaign’s Champions League and declared disagreements over the club’s transfer policy, the future of current manager Antonio Conte stays up in the air.

Various names have been linked with a transfer to Stamford Bridge at the end of the campaign, and according to Tuttomercatoweb, Blanc is in the frame.
The Frenchman has been out of work since leaving Paris Saint-Germain in 2016, while the ex-Manchester United centre-half has also spent time as head coach of the national team.

The Frenchman has only held appointments in his country, however that has not stopped the 52-year-old from being linked with some of the top jobs in European football in the past.

Meanwhile, Chelsea have reportedly shown an interest in signing Newcastle United star Jamaal Lascelles in the summer.

The Magpies skipper has proved himself in the heart of his club’s back line since his move from Nottingham Forest in 2014.

Lascelles’s leadership abilities and defensive classes have helped Newcastle get distance from the Premier League’s bottom three in last weeks amid renewed optimism of survival.
