Jose Mourinho granted double injury boost ahead of Tottenham clash

The Red Devils have not started the season as convincing as they would have liked after a 3-2 loss to Brighton last weekend.
It has cranked up the pressure on Mourinho ahead of their Monday night clash with Tottenham.

The Special One is already under scrutiny after a number of reports emerged revealing unrest in the United camp, especially from star man Paul Pogba.

But with the club in desperate need of some good news, two players have granted the fans exactly that after revealing they are close from coming back injury.

Defenders Dalot and Rojo have hinted that they could be back sooner than expected after injuries took their toll in pre-season.

Portuguese right-back Dalot has been earmarked as the eventual successor to Antonio Valencia but has not played a game for United yet.

But a cryptic tweet of an emoji saying 'soon' has fans excited that a debut is in the offing.

And Argentinean defender Rojo has made a similar statement after announcing to his Instagram followers that there is 'not long now' to go.

Asked for an update on Dalot’s recovery back in July, Jose Mourinho replied: "Dalot is injured

"We knew he was injured, a small injury, a small surgery.

"He’s recovering really well, I think he can start training when we come back to England.

"He won’t be ready for the start of season but ready I think for September."
