Sunday, September 2, 2018

JOSE MOURINHO has revealed what the difference between his Manchester United is compared to Liverpool and Manchester City.
The Special One has come under mounting pressure in recent weeks after some poor results.
A shock loss to Brighton was followed up by a thrashing to Tottenham at Old Trafford that had some fans livid.

But Mourinho has bounced back with a 2-0 win over struggling Burnley at Turf Moor - despite fan unrest.

Some United supporters had paid for a plane to be flown overhead before kick-off reading 'Ed Woodward - Specialist in Failure'.

A segment of fans are unhappy with the United vice-chairman for what has been perceived a bad summer of transfer business

But some of the bad feelings around the club are starting to be banished.

However, their attacks are still seen to be far off the likes of Liverpool and City - who have won plaudits for their marauding offensive style.

Asked if United can play like City or Liverpool: "They play the way they play, and we play the way we play.

"I don’t even want to try to say something in relation to that.

"They are what they are and we are what we are.

"Against Tottenham, we were really positive and really strong and I think the opponent, a very good opponent, felt that and felt they were really in trouble.

"But two defensive mistakes in five minutes lost the game for us."

The Red Devils have pushed themselves up to 10th in the league following their win over the Clarets.

Sean Dyche's men, however, are in a spot of bother - having won just one point out of a potential 12.
