Chelsea star N’Golo Kante has spoken out amid speculation linking him with a move to Paris Saint-Germain.
Kante was named the PFA Player of the Year in his debut season at Chelsea and the 27-year-old midfielder won the club’s Player of the Year prize for the 2017/18 campaign.
PSG have been linked with Kante for some time and sporting director Antero Henrique is reported to have met with the Frenchman’s entourage over a potential move this summer.
Chelsea have responded to the mounting interest from Paris by slapping an £88million (€100m) price tag on Kante.
Asked about the rumours linking him with a move to the Parc des Princes, Kante responded: ‘I have not been approached specifically by clubs. ‘It’s my agent who manages these things.
‘Today, I’m in Chelsea and I do not worry about what’s going on around it. ‘I’m preparing for the World Cup, I only have that in mind.’
Kylian Mbappe recently identified Kante as the player he would most like at PSG. Asked about his dream signing, Mbappe told beIN SPORTS:
‘Kante, according to our needs and also the quality of the player. ‘I think he’s a player that would suit our team perfectly.
He is French, bring back a Frenchman for the attractiveness of our Championship, it would be good. ‘I think all the French like N’Golo Kante, and it would be a pleasure to have him in our league.’
