Man United to complete deal for French giants €85,000-a-week star

France international Djibril Sidibe is close to joining the Premier League giants Manchester United from AS Monaco, according to Le10 Sport.
The report from the French outlet, as quoted by The Mirror, states the defender is on the verge of finalising a summer move to Old Trafford.

Reports emerged throughout the week that claimed the Red Devils are working on a deal, with Portuguese manager Jose Mourinho looking to rebuild his defence.

Djibril wants his future resolved before upcoming summer’s World Cup in Russia, with Manchester United leading the race to land him. The 25-year-old full-back will be signed to provide rivalry with Antonio Valencia for a place in the starting eleven.

Frenchman will become the latest high-profile departure from AS Monaco after they failed to defend their Ligue 1 title this campaign. The defender has been connected with a move to the EPL in the past, with Manchester United and their Premier League rivals Arsenal both admirers.

This season, in all competitions (Ligue 1, Champions League, Coupe de la Ligue, Coupe de France, Trophée des Champions), Djibril Sidibe has made 34 appearances, netted 3 goals and provided 8 assists.
